My name is Maya. I design handmade leather bags and have run a brand called Mayko Bags for 15 years. I love making beautiful, quality, and functional bags for women worldwide! I love hearing my customers' requests and incorporating them into my bags during the design process; I feel like they are all right beside me.

When I was little, I made handicrafts in my room at my parents' house.
Even back then, I would make belts from leather scraps
of catalogs of samples that my father would bring me from his work
Or I would wait for my mother to go to work to do experiments with dyeing clothes in a washing machine😅
The creative process has always excited me
From the initial idea that suddenly pops into my head
for planning
to perform
And finally, to the final product!
Today, I have a Mayko studio with all the conditions for the creation
My playground, so thankful for it!
